Family Team Award
Recognizing the Effort and Achievement
of a Family as a Team
CGA Family Team Awards
represent the participation of a Family as a Team. A Family Team is comprised
of two or more people who are related by law or legal guardianship. The team
may have parents, children, grandparents, or other relatives.
To qualify for the Family Team Award, each member of the team must achieve the
"rating level" of FC or
better in at least four
events
in a Division. . A rider becomes "rated" in a Division based on the
Rating Matrix.
The Family Team Award jacket is embroidered “California Gymkhana Association”
above the CGA BArrel Racer, the year the jacket was earned, and the Last Name
of the Family above the words "Family Team Member". The front proudly displays
the First Name and Rating of the team member.
Families submit a
signup form
and pay a fee to begin their quest for this award. The rules and conditions
vary between award programs. Please read the
Information Manual
carefully for details.
