Start a New CGA District
It's Easy - It's Fun
CGA is comprised of
Districts (Clubs) throughout the State of California. Advantages of CGA affiliation
include wide ranging support and promotion of your club by the state organization
and an opportunity to generate additional income for your organization.
Any Club that is predominantly Gymkhana,
or any individual who wishes to start a new district, may apply to CGA to have conduct
sanctioned CGA shows.
Minimum Requirements
- Schedule a minimum of 7 shows over a 12 month period.
- Run a minimum of 6 events per show.
- Riders and Workers to properly conduct a show by serving as timekeepers, announcers
and arena workers.
- Two or more members who are willing to become CGA sanctioned Judges
- An arena that is safe and large enough to run all the events. The arena must be
at least 120 feet by 250 feet.
Cost is minimal
- Make new friends and enjoy
the
ride$20.00 for arena liability insurance ($1,000,000.00 coverage)
- Cost of the equipment needed to run the show
CGA will provide lot's of assistance and support
New Districts are assigned a Sponsor District that will help them with judging,
equipment and show management until the new District is self sufficient.
The California Gymkhana Association is about good competition, good friends, and
good family fun.
